R-CAP-01

Imagined to sit on a site of 1600 sqm in Northern Greece, the dynamic structure is marked by a series of slopes that allow visitors to seamlessly traverse the entire elevation in one continuous sweep. These circulation pathways create four levels of outdoor terraces that house the structure within, giving shape to a series of interconnected planes that create a sense of movement. Additionally, as the sharp lines intersect the main volume, they lend a sleek finish to the facade with a dynamic yet minimalist geometry.
Fostering harmony with nature, small pockets of vegetation line the patio slopes and a landscaped park sits adjacent to the building. The architects’ extensive use of glass panels further increases the building’s internal transparency and connection to its outer surroundings, enhanced by the integration of an observation deck overlooking the park.
